Last month the sixth annual Governor’s Wine Competition was held in Sonoita, Arizona. The judges consisted of professional wine judges, journalists & restaurateurs. Wines were tasted blind & awards for best red, white, rose & dessert wine from Arizona were awarded. We are very proud to announce that the 2006 Dos Cabezas WineWorks Viognier was awarded Best Arizona White Wine & the 2006 Dos Cabezas WineWorks El Norte was awarded Best Arizona Red Wine. We are very pleased & will keep everyone posted regarding the date of the awards banquet - currently scheduled for March 2008.
